Don't be fooled by the name!, May 22, 2012 This review is from: Carhartt Women's Trail Jacket (Apparel) Don't be fooled by the Carhartt name! I bought this jacket to wear in the spring when temperatures in Michigan can get into the 30s and 40s. Because this is a Carhartt I thought this would be made out of their signature heavy-weight denim. It isn't. The material is about the same weight as an oxford shirt. Since the jacket has no lining and the fabric is so lightweight a cheap flannel or denim shirt would be warmer. It's going back.
